People need to know where to find their preferences folder...so that they can relpace their gnutella.net (many people don't even know that it exists, let alone what it's called or how to find it).

XP users using the newer versions of LW (more recent than 4.9.34) should look for their preferences folder in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data\LimeWire. XP users who are still using much older versions of LW (older than 4.9.34) should look for their preferences folder in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\.limewire

Vista users should find their preferences folder here: C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\LimeWire

Both XP & Vista users will need to show hidden files & folders in order to be able to find a preferences folder in the new location (for LW versions newer than 4.9.34). XP users can do this by going to Control Panel > Folder Options > click on the View tab > check the radio button to show hidden files & folders > apply > ok.
