Look for a folder in the new location of C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data\LimeWire. Remember to show hidden files & folders first.

If LW still doesn't connect, try replacing the gnutella.net folder within the preferences file (the one that you just deleted, named 'LimeWire').
