ok, so i used LW on xp with no problem, alomg with emule, shareaza etc. They all worked fine until i switched to vista, now nothing works.
Ive done the few tests, where the page loaded ok, and i did the other one where it said my pc was in stealth mode.
Ive turned off the firewall, i use AVG which doesn't appear to have a problem with LW but i turned it off to run the test. My ISP is aol - yeah go on laugh, but like i said i've not had a problem. I've lokked for that c:/vista/user....... file but i can't find the folder anywhere, yes my files are not hiddden. I connect through a wireless router, netgear dg834pn, i've checked the exception in the firewall but LW insists it's behind a firewall which it isnt!
can anybody shed some light on this? surely with all us peeps getting the same problem it must be a compatability issue with LW & Vista?
any help here would be great!
