I had a similiar problem and I couldn't get lime wire to work. 8 hours of frustration then I gave up. I downloaded Frost Wire yeh, then I just shut off my computer and went to sleep (Frost Wire didn't work at first either). when I woke up and started Frost Wire it worked. Try that with limewire or switch to FrostWire
