Smile Audiobooks - new stuff!!!!

Plug for LimeWire accessible site for new audiobooks

We purchased LimeWirePro a couple of weeks ago for the availability of audiobooks. Aaron is blind so this is a pretty important part of our life... We've had some good reads and I've noticed a lot of others seem to be benefitting from our downloads too, judging from the monitor action.

Couple of issues though: a) there is a huge limit as to the type of stuff available and we've pretty well reached our interest level.
b) lots of stuff isn't actually "complete" yet keeps getting recycled as such.

Today, I was looking for some other options and was delighted to find that LimeWirePro supports the downloading from other sites and the books can be managed through LMpro. I was in the process of freeing up some disk space to make room for the new material and thought I'd better check the monitor, not wanting to cut someone off in the middle of a download... to my utter surprise there was a "swarm" of folks trying to get at my still downloading Atlas Shrugged.... they couldn't even get 1KBs speed because the demand was so high (i'm guessing here)

So, here's an appeal to all audiobook lovers... please let's all contribute to help provide each other new sources, not just through LimeWire.

Here's what I found today

There is a whole lot of stuff there, and if more of us download it there, it will be more easily accessible to all of us through LimeWire. My Atlas Shrugged at more than 2,000 MB is downloading from 5-6 hosts at 45KBs, yet the folks trying to download it from me while I'm doing it are in a bottleneck.

Correct me if I'm wrong about this stuff... I may be jumping to the wrong conclusions, but feel we've found a way to share books other than (gotta love her, but enough already, JK Rowlings and some old John Grishims)

Thanks a lot LimeWire!
