In order to change the language used in Limewire, complete the following steps:
  1. Open up Limewire
  2. Click "View" (or the second menu item if it is not in English)
  3. Go to "Change Language" (or the last menu item if it is not in English)
  4. Choose your language
  5. Completely shut down Limewire, including in the taskbar and system tray, and then restart Limewire
So you need to click on 'Ansicht' & then the last item in the dropdown menu. That will get you to where you can choose English

Once your LW's back to English, right click next to your connection bars & tick 'show language status'. Now a little flag will show, next to your connection status. If your language ever changes again, click on that flag icon & you'll go straight to the options to change language
