guys...

you might have figured out my problem, but i need your help...

i am using 4.16.3 and for the last few versions, i have gotten 5 bars but also the brick wall. i never used to get the brick wall, but now i do. it still works, but its not as robust.

anyway, i don't see or know where to look for the preferences folder.

so what should i do to try your fix?

uninstall limewire, delete what folders where, and then save the download of 4.16.3 to local disk and reinstall?

i desperately want to rid myself of this stupid brick wall. i'm confused though as to how to replicate what you guys seem to have worked out.
