ah, i knew about that but had forgotten. the technique is working for some of them though, and it leads me to believe that in some cases, the incompletes would have indeed sat forever.

i see that 4.16.4 is out, but the beta is serving me well. no brick wall still.

so i'm not sure what i will do to upgrade, but i will hold a copy of this version of the beta install file jic a future release screws me.

btw, my java says its the newest java when i click update from inside the control panel applet for it, but it also says its 1.6.0_03 which i assume is update three. but their webiste says update 4 is out... whats the story?
