I have been in an IRC karaoke room for several years, and I have put together a step by step manual that guides even the most novice through every step of the set up feature. Just joining a group is not enough, you need to learn how to rip your CD+G's to upload for sharing with others in the group. You also need to learn what to do with the songs that you download, whether you want to keep them in your hard drive to build up you personal library or burn them to a CD.
