Thanks for the update: what a pain. I hope Apple Tech support learns too.

I tried the Virex 7 when it was offered as part of the dot Mac services, but but gave up on it: not worth the hassle, and nothing was ever found. I've never heard of Virus Barrier. Has it ever caught anything real for you?
