I am not here to ask for help, I am here to help. This suggestion will help many people, because lot of them have this same problem.
I had this problem with LW: As a moment I start it, it closes down. Log report was like this:

If you have this problem, you, then, have Alcohol software instaled. That thing blocks your LimeWire!!! Solution to this problem is just to change one driver name. That driver is in your Alcohol Soft folder (usually on C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft). Its name is AXShlEx.ddl. That little thing blocks whole LW. You have to
RENAME that driver into AXShlEx.ddl.old.
Thats all. Just start LW and you'll see its working. What you gonna do with Alcohol? I don't care! LW is working
Try some other Virtual Drive programs. Or patch it.
