Lightbulb Let's exclude modem users through new Toadnode features.

Can Toadnode add a feature that helps create a DSL and faster network?

Let's prevent low bandwith users from uploading from our fast connections and we can set our clients to search only for other highbandwidth users.

This will stop high bandwith users from lying about their speed to avoid uploads off their machine because they will have to have set their client up to report as faster than, say 100k, or get dumped by our clients.

Also, Toadnode already monitors upload speed in realtime. There should be a feature where uploaders get a 5 second grace period and then if they don't meet your speed requirements that you set (ex. 10kb/s upload) then they get automatically dumped.

This frees your client up for more highbandwith users instead of putting them in a queue behind the modem users.

Modem users can then only download from other modem users.

One last feature, if your search says someone has an OC3 and you get .42k/s download from them, then you should have a setting that dumps your own downloads that are too damn slow instead of monitoring that by hand.
