You've been reading... a lot ! I can see that.
So, looks like you are another of the 1,000s and 1,000s of LimeWire users who have been stricken by NEW IMPROVED LimeWire !
There are quite a few good and clear guides that have been 'assembled' here in GF...
I was about to add another one to my sig (OH NO !) but we may as well start with what's there now...
You must very carefully and very
correctly uninstall LimeWire... This can be most problematical.
You may also need to properly uninstall and/or update Java.
Before you start all of this it would really be a good idea to, you guessed it, read a bit more here about these issues...
They're EVERYWHERE in these forums !
Promise you that you'll get the answer that is THE fix...
But it sure would be nice if you got it on the first shot !
