Im not an avid pc user but I have a pretty good grip on what Im doing. Ive been using LW for about a year now. I recently updated my internet security to Norton Internet Security 2008 (I guess I had the previous version prior to this seeing as how it came with my computer when I purchased it). Shortly after, I attempted to use LW (v. 4.14) as I usually would and was alerted to some sort of bug that needed repair. I was then prompted to update which I did to v. 4.16.7 and now I cant connect at all.
Details:
- OS version: Windows Vista (admin acct)
- Windows firewall has been removed and am currently using Norton's
- Cable modem connection
- Connecting from home
- LW version 4.16.7 and JAVA version 1.6.0_05
- ISP. Would that be Cable/Earthlink?
- Test worked @ www3.limwire.com:6346
- I see the firewall with the globe behind it
- Country: USA
