And, if something worse has actually happened and you have a particularly nasty virus that changes the file extension name of .mp3s,

Click on > .mp3 File Name Change Problems? Try Rename-It!

This, hopefully, will be a 'last resort' thing to do, but it makes sense for you to know about it !
The program is safe and clean and is another gem from Sourceforge.
