It says you don't have iTunes?
 
Try this:  
iTunes for Windows XP: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues
Go down to the "System-wide Troubleshooting" section and start there, 
then try the rest if you have to. 
You might have to go back a version.  
Apple is notorious for breaking things in iTunes.
It's a control freak thing with them.
