It wasn't a virus, I found the issue. The uninstall doesn't remove all teh files, at least it didn't for me, I found a batch of library files for limewire (Created the same day I installed limewire) that weren't uninstalled. After I manually removed them myself everything was fine.
I'm not the same Panther that posted something about a phone number, to be honest I didn't even know about these forums until I week ago, when I posted.
How ever I did decide to test what you said, probably not the smartest thing to do once I fix the problem, and found that it didn't work for me. I could of had a glitched install caused by my firewall or lag, just don't know.
Thanks for the help, I'm not the same panther that bragged about a support phone number, personally over all in the past I have had issues with support numbers, not saying limewire is one, and no longer use them, let alone look for them, instead I post on a forum and hope for an answer while I try to fix it myself. |
