New Connection Problems Haven't opened LW recently since I installed McAfee but before I even tried I took the prompt to upload to the new 4.18.3 version. After all is said and done and I've read previous Threads with advise and acted on the advise (activated "complete accessability" with LW on my security program) still nothing. Help.
1. Windows XP Home Version 2002
2. McAfee Security with LW full access in and out
3. 448 MB Ram
4. ??? Sorry, don't know how much Ram I have left but I haven't had any other problems opening or downloading programs and/or files.
5. Broadband connection.
6. NetDSL 800 Modem
7. Connecting from home.
8. LW 4.18.3 / Java 1.6.0_02
9. ISP is Qwest.
10. URL test said "Your test worked!"
11. No sharing of connection.
12. I have been on LW for almost a year now.
13. Yes, there is a brick wall in front of the blue earth on the LW interface.
14. I believe I am UPnP enabled (again, no previous connection problems until now.)
15. Using McAfee Antivirus.
16. Living in Arizona, USA.
Honestly, when your explanation got into the technical jargon of UPnP and beyond I was a little lost but again, nothing new except McAfee and Updated LW to 4.18.3.
Hope you can help me figure out what happened and how to correct. Absolutely no connectivitiy . . . no bars. |
