I think I've gone thru the board and haven't found this addressed. LimeWire was working fine until about 4 days ago then wouldn't start. It shows the splash screen (which doesn't show messages at bottom such as "loading html engine", etc) then that goes away and nothing is in the system tray. Then I logged out of my account and brought it up in my guest account and it came up and wanted to know settings, etc. i.e. it works there. I have tried uninstalling LimeWire and java, reinstalling java from the offline installer, reinstalling LimeWire, used revo uninstaller. I've replaced the gnutella file.
I'm running Vista Home premium and java 1.6.
Anybody have any ideas? I don't know where a log file is located that would show where it's failing. Thanks in advance.
