If all performance options are disabled, it's set to manual connect, then it should work. May need to wait some time for it to connect. Sounds suspicious to me it won't connect.

Another option is to try another slightly earlier version.

Did FrostWire connect? Though FW may need a different connection port or set it to UPnP.
