Remove all versions of Java using the Add/Remove control panel. Then reinstall using only the OFFLINE Java installer: Download Java software from Sun Microsystems which will be about 15 MB in size. Download to computer, then install. Do not use the smaller online installer!

It would also be wise to delete your LW preferences folder in meantime too since they may have become partially corrupted. Your LW prefs folder will still be found in the old location & called .limewire

Oh ... btw I think you need to reboot the computer after installing Java.
