i cant get limewire to connect!

i am behind a router with a firewall as well as my computer firewall

i have already forwarded the ports that are listed under the firewall settings in the options menu

i cannot even see anything in the connections tab

i have this same issue with both Windows Vista and Ubuntu Linux

i have tried switching from port 6346 to 7401 but still nothing

can somebody please help me figure this mess out
