I have gone into Norton and followed these steps:
Went to Norton Internet Security
Then to Personal Firewall
Then to Program Control
Then set the access for Limewire to "Allow"
Still has the firewall up.
Have also followed steps for removing Limewire completely and reinstalling. Still no connection.
DID NOT have this problem with previous version of Limewire.
After thinking about it, think I actually was able to connect when I first upgraded. Only thing added since then was a couple of little games for my kid.
So frustrating!!!!!
