Default Can Not Connect to Limewire

Here is the information for my PC:

OS: Vista
ISP: Suddenlink Cable
Firewalls: Windows (disabled), Nortons (Limewire listed as an exception)
RAM: 2GB
Hard disk space: 162 GB
Connection Type: Cable Modem w/ wireless router
Modem: Motorola SBG900 Wireless Surfboard Gateway
Connecting from home
Limewire ver: 4.18.3 Java: 6 (updated recently)
Did the test: Page not available
I have 3 laptops connected to the wireless modem/router.
I purchased limewire over a year ago Ver 4.16 I believe. In May of 2008 I began having problems with it. It showed that a firewall was detected and would only have the first green bar lit up on the connection bar. This was before I got my new modem. I e-mailed Limewire Technical support several times regarding this matter and never got a response back. After a while I forgot about it and when I thought about it again, my updates had run out. I deleted the old Limewire and purchased the newest version. I am having the same problems. Again I e-mailed technical support with no response. I read the forum here and tried most of the suggestions but still no luck. I am getting very frustrated.
