What some scam sites do is make you pay for the program, then give you a link to the Free version LW Basic program.

There is NO lifetime membership & never has been for the 'official' limewire. See the link I gave above & comments made.
The Lifetime thing they say is simply to get you interested & they will usually also say 1000's of free music, programs & games, etc. The official LW never do such. If you really had LW Pro it would say LimeWire Pro on the actual program window.
