 No Connection, firewal, vista, etc.
I have Vista, Nortons Internet Security-version 15.5, recently LW 4.18, 4.14 before and have NEVER been able to get my connection to work. Since coming to this site and reading Birdies responses, Lord of the RIngs, Grandpa and whoever else that seems to have a solution, I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL. Open ports, changed LW Vista preferences, show hidden folders. I think just about everything. My boyfriend's computer sits right in front of mine and he can connect so it can't be our connection/router. He has XP of course, and everything works. But mine---NO! I have changed and configured Nortons and LW. Does anyone have something else for me to do!! I wish my IT at work could just sign on and fix for me, but too bad she is not a LW expert. Is there anyone out there that can help my frustration?? PLEASE! |
