Use Windows cleanup, ... erm not sure of the name of the program because I don't use windows, an alternative is
Crap Cleaner to help clean up registry.
Use the Add/Remove control panel to remove all versions of Java. Then install the 'OFFLINE' version of java about 15 MB in size;
Download Java software from Sun Microsystems; use Crap Cleaner or Windows Cleanup after removing Java too.
Delete your LW preferences folder, found here

Reinstall LW using 'this' version

You may need to remove your previous LW firewall rule in windows firewall & re-add it, maybe not.
