LimeWire version is LimeWire PRO 4.18.8. internet connection is 512k ADSL. windows firewall is not in use. hard disk available is 10.51 GB. total RAM is 27.95 GB (these 2 numbers are what is shown when i defrag drive C. i don't know enough about computers to know if i am giving the correct numbers). java version 6 update 10. garden valley telephone company in U.S.A. is my ISP. i used the free version of limewire in the past, and i don't recall exactly what may have made it stop working. my computer is running McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (i don't know how to make an exception for LimeWire, though). my test worked. my modem is a Thomson speedtouch model st546 v6. i hope this info helps you help me, because i tried all of the tips in the Lord of the Rings first response, to no avail.
