Default me too!

I have wondered about this aswell. I have xmms set as my default player for mp3 files - but it wont bring it up when I click.

To set your default player under KDE, goto a mp3 file in Konqueror, right click on it and goto the Edit File Type... choice.

The main reason i want to get limewire to launch xmms is I only collect mp3s at 160kbps (or 75% vbr), so I would like to check the bitrate when the download starts so I dont waste time downloading low quality tracks.

Does anyone know where to find the partially downloaded mp3s - where does limewire store them - I cant find any hidden files in my shared folder, in the ~/Limewire dir or in the ~/.limewire dir - does anyone know where the files are so I can listen to them and check the bitrate please.

Thanks

Don
