Make sure you do NOT save your downloaded files to your LimeWire (LW) Program folder. Unfortunately LW 'sometimes' defaults to that location.

Best location is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared
LW's menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Saving & press Browse button if your shared location is LimeWire (program folder). Else choose another drive to save to.
