hey guys this is my first post ever

i have a mac laptop (please dont ask me what type!) i bought from a friend it about 4 months ago who bought it 2 months prior. i have limewire and it worked pretty well then i downloaded a song and it said i had already downloaded it (which i hadnt and now any song i download wont play in itunes or at all! how do i correct this? songs download in between 1 and 2 minutes so connection is fine any ideas and downloading movies isnt a problem at all i can still download them and they work

Hey i download music but cant listen to it in lime wire or itunes it used to work perfectly then i downloaded a mp3 and it said that i already had it (which i didnt) and now i cant download any music but movies work fine i can download movies and they work can anybody help me????
