Try installing an older version of Java, rather than the latest update. Make sure to use the JRE offline installer. Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 16

Otherwise, try installing this older version of LW: LW basic 4.16.0.exe
If that installs with no errors, then install the latest LW again (it will automatically remove the older version - you don't have to uninstall LW first). See whether that changes anything.
