Hi,

I recently downloaded LW 4.18.8 due to other's problems with version 5. However, it will not establish a connection to the Gnutella network for me. Below is my system information:

1. OS - XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2
2. Firewalls - Windows Firewall, Symantec Client Firewall, Symantec Anti-virus
3. RAM - 1.25 GB
4. Hard disk space available - 20.3 GB
5. Connection Type - Wireless
6. Connection Location - School/Work
7. Java edition - 6.13
8. Going to http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ shows "Your test worked!"
9. In the U.S.A.
10. Have used Limewire in the past with no issues.
11. The internet connection I'm on is an unsecured "guest" connection
12. There is a brick wall in front of a blue world icon
13. Interesting side note - after updating to latest version of Java, the all-new-email on yahoo doesn't load correctly.
14. Have also tried installing Frostwire and I get no connection to their network.
15. Have tried changing listening port to 65000 without success
