Disable Ultrapeer mode also. I'd recommend updating to the latest beta version. It is supposed to use less resources, loads much faster: LimeWire 5.2.5 (Beta) - Lime Wire. Make sure your java is up to date also. http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
