If nothing there helps, let us know the model of your 2-Wire. Also whether you have 'use UPnP' or 'manual port forward' ticked within LW's tools > options > advanced > firewall config

Also, if you're looking for a good free version of LW, you could (if you like) try the 4.16 version mentioned in this thread: Downgrading to LimeWire 4 from 5 & resuming incomplete downloads
