then: "Would I be better off burning to a dvd and playing that in player?"

sounds like you are already playing it in 'the player' now doesn't it?

are you asking should you create a DVD (vob) file and burn that then play that?

dunno...why don't you just try and see if that helps....DVDs cost less than 25 cents each...
