I can tell you this, at the moment although the UK government is trying to push through legislation whereby they can spy on all UK citizens web activities, that law has not been passed yet.

Although, it is possible that an official can ask your ISP for a record of your web usuage but, I guess, you would have to do something (or be suspected of something) before that can happen.
As far as I know, snooping does not happen randomly it has to be targetted.
So unless some official has got a grudge against you and/or you (or a member of your family) have done something that warrants scrutiny then you are safe.
