 5.5.8 is Erroring on update
Hi, I am new here and I need help big time. I have been using Limewire forever. I was just simply updating from 5.5.6 to 5.5.8 and after it uninstalled 5.5.6 it errored out and now when I try to download the file it will download 20 to 30 minutes then go to the following error; "Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installers author to obtain a new copy. More information at: Why do I get NSIS Error - NSIS" I went there and I did everything it told me to do. I updated my Java. I ran the CHKDSK, Cleared the Cashe, Cleared History, Cookies. I uninstalled and reinstalled my internet connection software(dialup /wbooster). I cleaned out all Limewire files from every inch of the HDD. It still did this. I did it all over again and tried again and still the error. Can anyone help PLEASE?????  |
