It seems LW's port Test page is presently down.

Make sure LW is added to your Windows Firewall exceptions. You can manually add it.

Using Torrents uses lots of connections. Wireless connection devices often do not handle a high no. of connections very well, resulting in unreliable speeds & at worst as you have seen, losses of connection altogether & possibly the router losing connection completely.

In Vuse's options, you can limit the no. of connections per torrent & overall.

I guess question is, is the problem at home or your internet provider(s).

I am aware in the UK several ISP's are moving toward either filtering, shaping or blocking p2p sharing programs, I'm not sure about Sky. Some internet p2p sharing filters take a little while to kick into action which might be the reason for the repetitive nature of loss of connection.

If your connection device also supports ethernet connections & you have ethernet (network) cable, you could try to see if there's any improvement compared to connecting via wireless.
