2.5 gb of ram, more space than i can shake a stick at lol about 14 out of 39 gb free.

as for selecting and then re selecting the issue is this. for the menues at the top "file, view ect" it will work where i select and then reselect but for everything else it does not work. and to be honest that trick doesnt always work for the file, view ect. I followed the other posts suggestions on uninstalling and reinstalling to no success. I am confused because this has been going on for a while.
