Apart from a few bug fixes (some of them were really serious and could cause LimeWire to crash), enhanced resuming capabilities and enhanced performance when sharing lots of mp3s, the most important changes were:

- The auto-downloader. You now can specify a search, click on "add to wishlist" and watch limewire download the files it finds automatically (could be handy if you want to keep requerying the network for a file that isn't available at the moment).
- The interval of requeries has been changed. LimeWire now requeries every 45 minutes. (If you are downloading one file, it's an improvement, if you are downloading 16 files, LimeWire will send a requery for one of those files every 12 hours.)
- Download overlapping. LimeWire now cancels the download from a slow location, if there's a faster location available. In addition it will now detect corrupt downloads better.

2.4 is not a major release, but it's worth an update. 2.5 will come with the most important changes.
