True. But IP addresses (or the resolved address) are shown with most Gnutella clients' downloads. There's just no history of the downloads in most cases, so you'd have to manually track the IPs (write them down while downloading). Perhaps Controler would like to block those IP addresses, for being careless or actively distributing virii?
