Talking Help us create 100 Pirate Edition websites!

The LimeWire Pirate Edition website was shut down last week, but we want to prove that it's not so easy to censor the internet. You can help by creating a 'pirate copy' of our website. It's easy, it's free, you can do it anonymously, and it will make you feel like a hacker. Here's how:
  1. Download the Tor Browser Bundle, extract its contents, and run the "Start Tor Browser" program. A new browser window will appear, showing the message "Congratulations. You are using Tor." All of the following steps should be carried out through the Tor browser, to ensure that you remain anonymous.
  2. Use the Tor browser to set up a free web-based email account with a provider such as Yahoo or Gmail. Don't use your real name or other details when signing up, and make sure that you always access this email account through the Tor browser.
  3. Use the Tor browser to set up a free hosting account with a provider such as webs.com, viviti.com, 000webhost.com, x10hosting.com, or another provider. The more providers we use, the better! Use the email account you created in step 2 to sign up. Again, don't use your real name or other details.
  4. Use the hosting provider's control panel to create a simple website. You can copy the HTML from this page, but feel free to make your own modifications. If you can translate the site into another language, even better!
  5. Use the email account you created in step 2 to send the URL of your new website to Grass Mud Horse, who's creating a directory of Pirate Edition sites.
  6. Repeat steps 3 - 5 as many times as you like.
  7. Close the Tor browser and delete the Tor Browser Bundle. Your hands are clean.
  8. Use Facebook, Twitter, blogs and forums to tell your friends about the great site you just "found".
If we reach 100 sites we'll contact the press, so remember to send your URLs to grassmudhorse@ymail.com!
