To all of you who are still having problems, try going to the Advanced options of your network connection's Properties and disable the ICF, the Internet Connection Firewall. Also go to the Networking tab and make sure you have the boxes for file and printer sharing for microsoft networks and client for microsoft networks both checked.

And stop cussing in the forums. Just get savvy.
