Agreed. This is the number one thing I miss about Napster. It was key to collecting certain obscuro albums that escaped mainstream attention. You could usually find a true collecter with little effort and start looking into getting items from them.

I very much want this feature. I haven't even bothered putting up my collection since I gave up on Napster because no one can browse it and grab what the need all at once. I feel that some of the reason why the content on Gnutella networks is so much less rich than that on Napster has to do with the uselessness of the clients for collectors.

I just went looking today for other Gnutella clients for Mac OS X that had that feature and turned up a complete blank. The one client I found that had it (Plex) returned poorer search results than LimeWire and was fixed to Netscape as its browser of systems. (I don't have Netscape 4.7 any more, so no luck using the feature.)

If LimeWire got this feature, I'd pay for it.
