Question Limewire has begun freezing my system during its startup.

I purchased LimeWirePro and had no problems for 48 hours.
While LimeWire was running in the background, my startup of ProTools crashed the system for an unknown reason. Upon restarting my system and running Norton Disk Doctor, everything checked out A-OK. ProTools runs fine after multiple attempts. LimeWire, however, will not start. I get the clock splash screen and LimeWire goes through all of its startups, but when the lime graphic goes away and the program should open, my cursor turns into a deteriorated-looking icon that I've never seen and the system hangs. I can't force quit. I can't do anything. I have done a complete uninstall and re-install. I've done it four times. I've removed all related components and I've even re-downloaded the installer and used a "fresh" one, all to no avail. The problems persist and I'm stuck stuck stuck. I'm running MacOS 9.2.2 and I loved this program. I want to use it again. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
