And as for connecting to other networks, their are many programs forming that actually do connect to other networks (other than their own)

by the way do you have any idea why limewire seems to use up heaps more useage than kazaa and other programs???????
Hello!

Why are you using the name Morpheus when you are using LimeWire and not Morpheus?.

Yes there is programs that allow multiple networking but those does not have all the special features of the respective protocol usually you are just able to download stuff but even that is sometimes extra problematic since the horizon in Gnutella for those apps are very small. And usually you are not able to share files yourself hence by using them you are leeching(Freeloading).

LimeWire is by far superior as a Gnutella client then any of those multiple networks apps and also I think it is the best Gnutella client available it sure is the most advanced one.

You say you have problem with LW eating up to much CPU resources.

LW is a Java app and Java requires alot of a computer it is a technhology in its infancy and will become a very powerfull technology in the future. But once your computer meets up the specs then it is indeed very fast.

To Run LW well you will need atleast 64MB of free physical RAM and a minimum of 400MHz Pentium 3 processor (It will run on even slower CPU's but will be slow as sirap).

But if your computer have trouble with LW and your computer meet up to those specs then the issue might have something to do with its CPU designation in Windows 2000 or XP.

To solve it do the following:

Open the task manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE. Go to the processes tab. Find javaw.exe and right click on it. Change the priority to low, and your system should be acting normal and responsive again.
