Default Upload MANIA

Hi.

I am a DJ sharing remixes I have done of other artists, hoping to promote my carreer using Limewire and other p2p platforms.

At first, all was well, and I was enjoying great success, even generating fan mail at my website, and getting more gigs.

Recently, almost all of my Limewire uploads are returning "File not found" messages. Only a few are actually getting through. (Maybe 5% of the previous traffic)

I have also noticed several the same IP addresses returning day after day, and "uploading" everything in my shared folder. This happens every couple of days. Nothing actually uploads, as all my files flash accross the upload screen one at a time very rapidly, and some form of error message accompanies each file.

None of this is happening on the other P2P platforms.

I have tried re-installing Limewire, but this hasn't helped the problem.

I work in an office where we have more than one computer on mulitple platforms with static IP addresses. This has started to happen on all the boxes, Macs and PCs alike, OS 9 and OSX.

Do you think this is some form of foul play?

ALSO:

I have noticed that a few files that I have deleted from my shared folder still show up on people's searches, and thier attempts come back "file not found".

Do some form of these deleted files still exist in a preferences folder somewhere on the Mac? If so, how do I delete the preference?

Thanks for your time.
