Unhappy 0.80 beta2 hosts

I'm using the listed version (0.80 beta2) because that's what's available with Debian Woody.

I've started up gtk-gnutella, and it's cycling through hosts. They all just end up as time-outs and failed connections.

I tried this link from an earlier post:
http://plexicode.com/gwebcache/gcache.php?hostfile=1
and the IP address at the top got me a connection for a short time. It soon was disconnected though. Is there some configuration that I missed?

One other thing, I am behind a gateway (D-Link DI-704P) for my DSL connection.

Thanks for your help!
