This program is awful. On my PC I ran 2.5.5 and it never worked well at all. I downloaded KaZaA for free and I was able to download tons of files, and the connection always worked. Now I'm running Mac OS X Jaguar with LimeWire 2.6, and it's even worse than it was on my PC. I have a fast, reliable connection to the internet through my school's network and on my PC, programs like Morpheus and KaZaA worked perfectly. With LimeWire the connection is precarious at best, and if it ever finds a stable connection the download/upload speeds are nothing short of pathetic. Are there any tricks to getting this program to work, or have I completely wasted my time and money?
